International Expert Workshop
Policy support through relevant tools and methodologies in the Intergovernmental Science-Policy Platform on Biodiversity and Ecosystem Services (IPBES), December 7th – 9th, 2011, Bonn, Germany
The international expert workshop was organized by the Federal Ministry for the Environment, Nature Conservation and Nuclear Safety (BMU) and the Federal Ministry of Education and Research (BMBF) in co-operation with the Helmholtz Centre for Environmental Research (UFZ) and the Network-Forum for Biodiversity Research Germany (NeFo). The workshop in Bonn was intended to provide input to the intersessional process and to enable an exchange of ideas. 81 participants (from policy, science and society) from 41 countries discussed several topics related to the IPBES function of policy support.
